OP-ED Restaurants and retailers beg NYC: Stop using us as an ATM

May 3, 2022

Today, the NYC Hospitality Alliance’s Andrew Rigie and Manhattan Chamber of Commerce’s Jessica Walker co-authored an OP-ED in the New York Post: Restaurants and retailers beg NYC: Stop using us as an ATM

Rigie and Walker call on the city of New York to reduce fines by half on small businesses while allowing cure periods and warnings for violations, keep fees to participate in the permanent outdoor dining program that’s being developed low, and eliminate the unjust commercial rent tax.

We encourage you to share this OP-ED on social media and tag @theNYCalliance, @AndrewRigie, @ManhattanCofC, and @jessinharlem.
