With almost 20 years of hospitality experience under his belt, Shaun Rose is no novice to the industry. Starting in 1998, Shaun has worked myriad positions, including club promoter, doorman, host and manager at some of New York City’s top clubs.
In 2002, after spending his early years honing his chops, Shaun and Pavan Pardasani launched New Revolution Marketing Group (“NRMG”), a boutique nightlife consulting and marketing firm. NRMG quickly became one of the most sought after firms in New York City, earning a reputation for delivering fast results; increasing profitability and extending the lifespan of their client’s establishments. In 2005 Rose, Pardasani & Rena Fischler expanded NRMG and established Type Social Events, another component to the company offering full-service event planning.
Over the next decade, NRMG & Type Social developed an impressive and diverse client list including big brand clients and hospitality establishments.
Making the jump to ownership, Shaun acquired NYC nightlife fixture, GoldBar in 2012. Combining his extensive experience and vision, Shaun has brought GoldBar back to the forefront of New York City Nightlife. Goldbar celebrated it’s 11th anniversary in February of 2018, a rare accomplishment in the NYC Hospitality business.
Shaun expanded on his success in 2014 with the opening of Sweetwater Social. Additional projects are slated for early 2019 and beyond.
Currently, Shaun resides in Manhattan’s West Village along with his wife and two daughters.
